    There’s a russian deli between 5th and 6th that’s pretty good.

I’m really fond of a Thai restaurant called “Siam Inn”. It’s on 8th Avenue between 51st and 52nd Streets – an easy walk to most Broadway Theatres, and very close to the 50th Street stations on both the 1,9 subway lines and the C line.

They are quick, have a wonderful inexpensive menu, and are always so pleasant!

If you don’t mind a little bit longer walk, 9th Avenue between about 46th and 59th streets has a lot of good inexpensive restaurants as well.

Becco. Good wines under $20 also unlimited pasta $21.95. Most entrees $10 – $30

Cheaper, these are all in or near Times Square — Ollie’s (Chinese)

Carmine’s — only go there if you have four or more people, portions are huge, they feed 2 or 3 people.

    John’s Pizzeria –

If you can find a diner, that’s usually a good place to eat affordably.

46th Ave btwn 8th and 9th has really cheap restaurants as well as ALL of 9th Avenue. It’s called “Restaurant Row” for a reason. Lots of really cute restaurants of all cusines.
