UPDATE: Court of Appeals judges grill lawyers in cigarette tax case
SYRACUSE — A panel of seven judges spent nearly an hour Thursday morning questioning lawyers regarding whether or not authorities in Cayuga and Senenca counties are legally allowed to pursue federal tax evasion charges against the Cayuga Indian Nation of New York.
