We’ll be hanging out on the strip mostly.
I want to get recommended some good places to eat at reasonable price.
You don’t have to answer all the questions below. Any answers you can give me will be appreciated. Thank you.

1. New-York style pizza
2. Chinese restaurants(especially the ones that has good chow-mein noodles)
3. Rib-eye steak
4. Barbeque
5. Mexican Foods
6. Japanese tempura/Udon
7. Hamburger

Do you know how long it will take to walk from the Stratosphere to all the way down to the Mandalay Bay without stopping at any place? And would it be safe doing it at night?

Many world-famous chefs have converged on Vegas in recent years. Emeril Lagasse put his signature “bam!” on Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand and Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian. Caesars’ Guy Savoy, MGM Grands’ Joël Robuchon, Bellagio’s Michael Mina and the Hard Rock’s Nobu share their names with their celebrity chefs. Grilling guru Bobby Flay has opened Mesa Grill at Caesars, and the host with the most — restaurants, that is — has his stamp on Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at MGM Grand, Chinois and Spago at Caesars Palace, Trattoria del Lupo at Mandalay Bay and Postrio at the Venetian.

You can always head for the award-winning restaurants, such as Bouchon, which was an Epicurean Award winner for Best French, Best New Restaurant on the Strip, Best Restaurant on the Strip and Best Restaurant. Bellagio’s Picasso and Le Cirque are both recognized by AAA as Five Diamond Restaurants. If your spouse loves to be surrounded by flowers, Fleur de Lys at Mandalay Bay would be perfect.

Vegas will certainly satisfy your need. If gourmet is your thing, the Bellagio , Wynn and the Paris will do you right. Some other buffets worth digging into are the Bistro Buffet at the Palms as well as the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio and Cravings at the Mirage. And the Grand Café at Green Valley Ranch is a favorite of locals and vacationers alike.
f you want a place that’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate, treat yourself to Bellagio’s Picasso, featuring dozens of pieces by the Spanish artist himself, or Le Cirque, where you will see every gentleman sporting a jacket and tie. Other restaurants showcasing a nice atmosphere are STACK and Kokomo’s at Mirage, Mix at Mandalay Bay and FIX at Bellagio. If you want a view that stretches beyond the dining décor, get in your reservations for Top of the World at the Stratosphere, Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas or Alizé at the Palms — all offering a spectacular view of Vegas. If you like to dine outdoors, Todd English’s Olives at Bellagio offers an up-close, remarkable view of the resort’s dancing waters. If wine’s your thing, Aureole at Mandalay Bay boasts a three-story wine tower.

wow–that’s a lotta questions–only been there once and the buffets at the hotels have a wide variety of food–only stayed there 4 days so we didn’t get tired of their food & didn’t venture out to other restaurants cause we figured they would be extremely expensive–we did walk from Ceaser’s Palace to the Luxor–don’t remember how much time but we felt safe walking at night–everyone is up all night!! lots of cars and people–just don’t venture off the strip!!

Here’s a place for pizza, although it’s a little off the path, mostly for locals:

first of all, you can walk, to mandalay bay. Have your walking shoes on- it’s a major hike. The 1’st thing we learned, nothing is just right there. Things look close, you’ll be walking an hour, and where your walking to will be the same distance, as it was, when you started!!!
For b b que, at reasonable price, I always suggest Ellis Island . It’s just off the strip,go down Flamingo, to Koval , you’ll see it. They have the best. Excellent food, a micro brew (if in your interest), the best bbq.For under 20.00 inc tip, 2 can eat there, my hubby and I went there often.
For excellent pizza, it’s off strip, also, you can order delivery, Metro is the best in town, pricy, it’s money well spent.
I hope this helps, somewhat. Have a wonderful time!!!
