2009! What a great year! And it wasn’t just assorted vintners and emerging China crowing about what has been for most an annus horribilis . In North America and even globally, the film industry also did mighty fine according to journalists, bloggers, analysts and studio execs, with record box office (over $10.5 billion!) and solid if not record attendance around 1.42 billion.
